Healthcare Cyber Security Summit: HealthKit Presentation

Last December, Data Theorem spoke at the Healthcare Cyber Security Summit hosted in San Francisco about Apple’s HealthKit.

The presentation provides a quick overview of the new HealthKit API available in iOS 8, which allows developers to store health data on the user’s device and share it across applications. The security and privacy implications of this new API are also described along with some best practices when handling health data.
